They get the job done. I'm a Chris King man myself, but the 40 does the same thing. I replaced the 40 on my Chameleon with a King not too long ago. Got a free 40 through Cane Creek's 40 program.

No I'm talking about where the four bolts are 2 on each side in the middle of that you will see marks you need a new faceplate and you should torque your stem properly

Those markings on the silver in the middle of the faceplate are stress marks meaning stress cracks
